Drupal:

WordPress is a free and open source blogging tool and a content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL which runs on a Web hosting service. CakePHP:

CakePHP makes building web applications simpler, faster and require less code. CakePHP is an open source web application framework. It follows model view controller(MVC) approach. CakePHP uses well-known software engineering concepts and software design patterns, as Convention over configuration, Model-View-Controller, ActiveRecord, Association Data Mapping, and Front Controller.

 

CodeIgniter:

CodeIgniter is a powerful PHP framework with a very small footprint, built for PHP coders who need a simple and elegant toolkit to create full-featured web applications. If you’re a developer who lives in the real world of shared hosting accounts and clients with deadlines, and if you’re tired of ponderously large and thoroughly undocumented frameworks, then CodeIgniter might be a good fit.

 

Symfony:

Symfony is a PHP web application framework for MVC applications. Symfony is free software and released under the MIT license. Symfony aims to speed up the creation and maintenance of web applications and to replace repetitive coding tasks. Symfony has a low performance overhead used with a bytecode cache. Symfony is aimed at building robust applications in an enterprise context, and aims to give developers full control over the configuration: from the directory structure to the foreign libraries, almost everything can be customized.

Zend Framework:

Zend Framework 2 is an open source framework for developing web applications and services using PHP 5.3+.
